OW Pool Session Dates / Time: 9th & 11th Sep (Tue & Thu), 1800 - 2100 Hrs

Venue: NUS Sports Recreation Centre Swimming Pool
Cost: $450 (PADI Open Water), $430 (PADI Advance OW), and $290 (Leisure)

- OW and AOW dive courses include equipment rental
- For Leisure divers: Rental of full dive equipment: $50 & Rental of Regulator and BCD only: $30

Cost: $340

- Must be at least a certified OW diver.
- Price includes full board at P.Redang, 5 dives and all coach/boat transfers
- Price excludes dive equipment rental.
- BCD & Regulator rental - RM$50 each, Fins RM$10, Mask RM$10, Wetsuit RM$30. (for the whole trip)

- A non-refundable deposit of $200 is payable in order to register for each dive trip

This coming july, NUS Dive Club brings you to the pristine and beautiful beaches of Pulau Dayang for an unforgettable time!!!

Pre-Pool Sessions: 18th June , 5-7pm or 7-9pm @ NUS SRC Swimming Pool (swim trial)

Pool Session: 4th July , 6-9pm @ NUS SRC Swimming Pool

Costs

Openwater: SGD490.00 includes 6 logged dives + 5 confined shores training dives, coach +ferry transportation, original course materials, meals, accommodation, equipment rental. Excludes RM5.00 Marine park fee.

Advanced: SGD470.00 includes 10 dives, original course materials, coach + ferry transporation, meals, accommodation, equipment rental. Excludes RM5.00 Marine park fee.

Leisure Package: SGD320.00 includes 10 dives, coach +ferry transportation, meals, accommodation. EXCLUDES equipment rental and RM5.00 Marine park fee. 

Signup and Payment

Booth: 7th June 2008 @ NUS Arts Faculty walkway to Central Library, 12noon-6pm.

Closing date for signups: 17th June 2008.

For Openwater Participants:

1. Non-refundable Deposit of SGD150.00 payable on 7th June at the NUS Booth
2. Remaining SGD340.00 must be paid by 18th June before pre-pool session commences.

For Advanced Openwater Participants:

1. Non-refundable Deposit of SGD150.00 payable on 7th June at the NUS booth
2. Remaining SGD320.00 must be paid by 18th June before pre-pool session commences.

Leisure Participants:

1. Full payment of SGD320.00 is to be made by 7th June at the NUS Booth or alternatively, full payment must be made no later than 18th June.

Notes:

1. We only accept cash payments. A receipt will be issued to you upon payment.
2. No electronic monetary transfers/ cheques will be entertained.

Administrative matters

1. Participants are to download and fill in the Particulars Form. Email the completed forms to divecamp08@gmail.com. Incomplete forms will be not entertained.
2. Indicate your name + type of course (OWD/AOWD/LEI) under the subject heading when you email the completed forms.
3.  All forms are to emailed latest by 17th June 2008.
4. Bring along 2 recent passport sized photos on first payment. Indicate your Name+ NRIC/FIN/Passport Number on the back of the photographs using non-smudging ball point pen ink.  
5. Download and read our Terms and Conditions. Submit a printed copy with your signature during payment. By signing, it is presumed that you have read all the terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them.

Hello NUS Students !!!

this post has been long overdue and now it is finally here !! time to go diving !!!

This May 2008 holidays, NUS Dive Club will be bringing you to the rustic island that is Pulau Aur where everyone will only dive, eat, sleep and dive somemore !! Not forgetting spending time getting to know every other person on the trip as well =)

 Enough talk, let’s go diving !!!

Dates

Combined Theory Session: 9th May 2008, Friday , 6-9pm at NUS SRC Conference Room Level 2.  

Trip 1 (FULL): 16th-18th May (departure Friday Evening at NUS)

Trip 1 Pool Session: 12th & 14th May 6-9pm at NUS SRC Swimming pool 

Trip 2 (FULL!!!): 30th May -1st June 2008

Trip 2 Pool Session: 26th & 28th May 6-9pm @ NUS SRC Swimming Pool

Course packages available:

(i) PADI Openwater Scuba Diver Course @ SGD420.00 inclusive of original material, accommodation, transfers, meals, full equipment rental, certification.

(ii) PADI Advanced Openwater Scuba Diver Course @SGD405.00 inclusive of original manuals, accommodation, transfers, meals, full equipment rental , certification. EXCLUDES torch rental for night dive specialty

(iii) Leisure Trip to Aur @ SGD275.00 inclusive of accommodation, transfers, meals, full equipment rental, one of a kind experience diving with NUS Dive Club.

NOTE: prices exclude Marine park fee of RM5.00 per person payable at Mersing Jetty.

Signups !!!!

Dates: 15th & 16th April 2008 from 10am-5pm.

Location: Benches along Arts Faculty Walkway to Central Library.

Things to bring/note: $100 non-refundable deposit , a pen to fill in the course forms. Do note that there is a medical declaration form to be filled in prior to signup.

Medical note: If you have any existing medical conditions e.g. asthma, kindly seek proper medical advise and produce documentation proving that you are fit for diving. if there is any doubt over your physical condition, we would recommend that you do not commit yourself to the course prior to a proper medical examination.
